IALA is a 501 c (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. All donations to IALA are tax-exempt. Every year IALA
celebrates India Independence Day and India Republic Day to bring Indian community together.
IALA is organizing Independence day of India: Indian Heritage celebration On Saturday, August 26th, 2023 At Chatsworth High School, 10027 Lurline Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311 The spectacular event will have grand fair, booths, food and elected officials. Past Celebration: India Independence Day 2019 Celebration: IALA organized India Independence Day celebration on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Birmingham High School, Van Nuys. Honorable Congressman Brad Sherman was guest of honor. CG Ambassador Sanjay Panda, Senator Henry Stern, and Representatives from various political offices were also present.

Media Coverage of 2016 India Republic Day Celebration: India Independence Day 2015 Celebration: IALA organized spectacular celebration of India Independence Day on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 at the Granada Hills Charter High School, Granada Hills. India’s Ambassador to the United States, Arun Kumar Singh was the chief guest. It featured open air mela, colorful cultural performances, Indian Cuisine etc. Dignitaries Congressman Brad Sherman, state Assemblyman Matt Dababneh, and Los Angeles Councilman Mitch Englander graced the occasion.
